NSF STCs integrative partnership program supports innovative, sophisticated, and potentially transformative research and education projects that require large-scale, long-term awards. STCs conduct research through partnerships among academic institutions, national laboratories, industrial organizations, and other public/private entities, and via international collaborations, as appropriate. Dr. Lizanne DeStefano leads the evaluation of numerous STCs by utilizing values-engaged, educative (VEE) approach (Greene, DeStefano, Hall, & Burgon, 2006).
Current STC evaluations include:
- Cell Manufacturing Technologies (CMaT)
- The Center for Sustainable Nano Technology (CSN)
- Center for Engineering MechanoBiology (CEMB)
- Center for Brains, Minds, and Machines (CBMM)
- eXtreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE)
Past STC evaluations include:
- Center for Emergent Behaviors of Integrated Cellular Systems (EBICS)
